Shiyan Chen is a professional illustrator and changemaker. She studies at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, majoring in BFA Illustration, and is enrolled in the Honors Program. She works as the Pictures and Periodicals Student Assistant at the SVA Library and is an Ink Magazine Assistant Editor.

She describes her style as detail-oriented, critical, and inspiring. She thinks the integration of illustration, design, and technology that touches hearts is important in this cruel and rational world.
